Have had this kit on my SV6 for several years, I had all plastics carbon fibre hydro-dipped, looks amazing. My only criticism is if this was to be redesigned, a drop-in air filter design would be a huge improvment.
As it is, I absolutely dread trying to get the air cleaner out and back in again. Having to lift the intake manifold is far from convenient and risks introduction of intake leaks. With some perseverance
it is possible to remove the throttle body to assist in getting the boot off but still, come on VCM, where's the 3D design tech and innovation gone? I doubt I'd buy this kit again knowinig how difficult a job it is
to get at the filter element.

Well made and impressive packaging 👌🏼

Fitted a timing chain kit requiring oil pump removal as part of a DOD delete on a L76 6 litre. Sump was not removed meaning the pickup tube retaining bolt which is at the rear of the pickup is almost impossible to refit. Using the vcm supplied pick up brace attached to the front pick up tube bolt hole made the job easy. Not its intended purpose but holds the pick up securely.
