VF Commodore Engine Bay Wash: Even the Loudest VF Needs a Spa Day
Ignoring the engine bay when cleaning your car is like skipping leg day - its a job done half. Most of us are eager to weekend with mates or on our own polishing our panels, getting our dash dust free but we often forget about the engine bay - the heart of the car.
So skip no more, in this blog, we'll run through the easy 5 step guide to cleaning your engine bay.
THE 5 STEP GUIDE TO AN ENGINE BAY CLEAN
WHAT WE USED
- Yum Undress
- Yum Foam
- Yum Ultra Soft Detailing Brush
- Yum Dress v2
HOW WE USED THEM
Step 1: Undress - Spray Yum Undress all over the engine bay to remove oil & grimes.
Step 2: Lather it up - Dilute Yum Foam into your snow foam cannon and spray over the Undress onto the engine bay. Yum Foam provides extra cleaning power and adds dwell time to your Yum Undress.
Step 3: Agitate - Using the Yum Ultra Soft Detailing Brush, agitate the engine bay to lift up any stubborn grime and loosen dirt.
Step 4: Rinse - Rinse everything off. Make sure all soap has been removed before moving to the final step.
Step 5: Dress - Diluted 4:1, spray Yum Dress all over the engine bay whilst it's still wet from the rinse and leave Yum Dress to dry for a couple hours or overnight. Feel free to wipe down high spot areas using Yum Wheel & Tyre Towel.
