🫧 Step 2: The Body of the Car
When washing the body of the car, a pre-wash is done to loosen and lift dirt and then followed by a contact wash to gently remove any remaining grime and get your car looking brand new!
The pre-wash
The pre-wash aims to removes dirt & debris, YUM Citrus is best used on heavy dirt areas and lower panels of the car. YUM Foam can be layered over the top of YUM Citrus for additional dwell time to help lift any stubborn dirt.
Pro Tip: Take your time when rinsing your pre-wash off. You want to make sure all the dirt has lifted before moving to the contact wash, to ensure you get a superior clean in the contact wash.
The contact-wash
With your pre-wash complete, you can now move to the contact wash — this is where the magic happens. The YUM Wash when used with the YUM Wash Pad is all you need for a whole car clean, and for those hard to clean corners, use the Detail Factory Ultra Soft Detailing Brush.
Pro Tip: for greater coverage and slickness, load YUM Wash into your snow foam cannon.
