These guides are created for the HP Tuners VCM Suite and allow you to pick your process (Mild, Moderate, Aggressive, or Towing), keeping you in the driver's seat.

GM Model Tuning Books & Transmission Guide

Under the GM Models, we have both the GM LS and GM LT engine Tuning books available. For those wanting more from their engine, we also have the GM Advanced Topics Book available. 

GM LS Engine Tuning Book 

• Material is based on late model GM LS and Vortech Vehicles.
  • Suited for, LS1, LS6, LS2, LS3, LS7, LS9 and LSA
  • Suited for Vortech V8 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L and 8.1L ranging from 1998 to 2015.
    
• Course content covers information on the tuning process for each vehicle modification type (bolt-ons, heads/cam, forced induction).
• Includes a separate guide for MAF & VE tuning (covers Virtual VE).

GM LT Engine Tuning Book 

• GM LT Engine course material builds upon the methods and processes of its predecessors, which made use of fuel, spark and airflow models to run older engines. 
• Tuning book includes both MAF & Virtual VE guides.

GM Transmission Guide

• The transmission guide covers the GM 4, 6, 8, and 10 speed automatic transmissions.
• Transmission guide covers; torque management and shift times, firmness and points & feels.
• The guide also runs through setting up your VCM Scanner as well as break-down the parameters and what's happening.

Ford Model Tuning Books & Transmission Guide

Ford Coyote Engine Tuning Book 

• Tuning Coyotes can be challenging, with the complex HDFX system and Ti-VCT, but with the included Bolt-on and Forced Induction processes every level of tuner can make confident changes and improvements. 
• The Tuning Book covers the changes for GEN I (2011-2014), GEN II (2015-2017) and GEN III (2018+) Coyote. 
• Whilst the course covers camshaft timing adjustments and tuning aftermarket throttle bodies, it does not explain speed density tuning.

Ford Transmission Guide

• The Dodge Transmission Guide supports 5 speed (45, 545RFE, A580/NAG1), 6 speed (68RFE) and 8 speed (ZF8HP series) transmissions.
• The Dodge Transmission Guide will equip you with the tools and understanding to choose the right torque management for your vehicle performance goals, know how a shift happens and the shift process from initiation to completion.
• You also gain access to VCM Scanner and learn the ins and outs of how to read and apply the information to enhance your transmission performance.
