MPVI3 vs RTD - What's the difference?
MPVI3 and RTD are both products under the HP Tuners Range. With different device permissions depending on whether you're a dealer, tuneshop or vehicle owner, it's important to know the difference.
RTD:
The RTD is the preferred device by dealers and tuneshops. It allows the master tuner (dealers and tuneshops) to run diagnostics and edit the tuning software for the end user (vehicle owner).
The remote functionality means the master tuner can, using VCM Suite Software, can work on vehicles remotely without the vehicle physically in the workshop, freeing up space.
With the tuning file stored on the TDN (Tuner Delivery Network) App, the end user can easily access their tune file.
MPVI3:
MPVI3 on the other hand, gives the vehicle owner complete tuning control. With both VCM Editor and VCM Suite included, it enables them to read, edit and write tuning files. Unlike the RTD, MPVI3 comes with Pro Feature Set software, allowing you greater sensor inputs (just be sure to purchase the Pro Link Cable to access)

So which one is right for me?
RTD: If you are leaving the tuning to the professionals (dealer or tuneshop) and are only uploading your tune file via TDN App.
MPVI3: If your a dealer, tuneshop or someone who loves to do it all and you require both edit and upload access.
